Complete your required CCW classroom training on your schedule—from home, work, or wherever it is convenient for you.

Our online CCW training provides a flexible option for both 16-hour Initial and 8-hour Renewal applicants in Riverside and San Diego Counties. Complete the classroom portion at your own pace, then meet with Practical Is Tactical for your required in-person live-fire qualification.

Online training is ideal for:
• Busy schedules and working professionals
• Students who prefer to complete classroom training at their own pace
• Out-of-area and eligible out-of-state applicants
• Initial and Renewal CCW applicants

You'll receive the same focus on firearm safety, California law, responsible concealed carry, and practical decision-making without committing to a full classroom day or weekend.

Online training does not eliminate the required live-fire qualification. A separate $40 range/qualification fee is paid directly to the range when you complete your in-person qualification.

PRIVATE & SMALL-GROUP TRAINING

Most defensive situations don't happen under perfect lighting conditions. Are you prepared to safely identify, assess and respond when you can't clearly see what's in front of you?

Our Low Light / No Light Training introduces students to the challenges of safely handling and using a firearm in reduced-light environments. Available as private or small-group instruction, the training allows us to work at your pace while developing practical skills for situations where visibility is limited.

Training can include:

• Understanding how reduced light affects vision, perception and decision-making

• Proper use of handheld and weapon-mounted lights

• Safe firearm handling while operating a flashlight

• Target identification and the importance of positively identifying a threat before making the decision to fire

• Different flashlight and firearm techniques

• Movement and use of available light

• Managing transitions between light and darkness

• Live-fire exercises under reduced-light conditions

• Practical decision-making and defensive scenarios

Low-light shooting isn't simply about learning to shoot in the dark. It's about learning when to illuminate, what you're looking at, and making good decisions before you press the trigger.

Had a little run in with the law and were ordered by a Judge to attend a Firearms Safety Course? This class may satisfy your training requirements as required by the California Courts.

This is a 4HR online course that once completed will provide you with a completion certificate to turn into your attorney or the courts per the instructions provided to you.
